Three new songs just posted! Please have a listen!
I’ve just posted three new tracks to the profile. Two of them have never been heard anywhere before. Please have a listen on my MySpace music profile!
The three new songs are “Arrest,” “Going Under,” and “goslower.”
“Arrest” is a track from my forthcoming album Mythconception. It is a concept album with a definite storyline and meaning. This track, which I think has a definite 1970’s-rock air about it, deals with a pivotal incident in the story.
“Going Under” is an instrumental composition which was written to be the soundtrack to a short film by a friend who is in film school. The track was never intended to actually be used; it was an exercise to see if I could compose a cinematic score for film. I have wanted to compose for film ever since I was a kid. I doubt I’ll ever have an opportunity. This track will probably be the closest I ever get. I enjoyed putting this one together more than I could say — a great experience!
“goslower” is the opening track from my 2007 EP of the same name. I’m exceptionally proud of this track. You can download the entire goslower album for free from Smaragd’s website. In fact, please do! Did I mention that it is free?
